UPDATE SEPTEMBER 1, 2021

Dear Gymagic Athletes, Friends & Families,

Classes resume September 7, 2021!!!

We continue to evaluate and prioritize the safety of the athletes and clients we serve and our team of professionals. As COVID cases are on the rise around the country as well as our state, Gymagic is once again addressing COVID safety protocols.  We will continue these updates as recommendations are released through email, social media (Facebook and Instagram) as well as our website: https://www.minotgymnastics.com/page/home.

Currently, wearing masks inside our facility remains optional but is highly encouraged. We expect everyone to follow First District Health Department guidelines. While our goal is to remain mask free, if circumstances change then please be aware that we will upgrade our COVID protocols to follow the guidance in our area, those of our medical professionals at Trinity and First District Health.  While masks are not currently required at the time of this email, we will be upgrading some of our protocols to reduce transmission and occurrence of outbreaks in our facility.

As of Tuesday, September 7, 2021:

  • Reduce large numbers in our building at any one time.  We understand the first week of class is very exciting for everyone and you will likely want to accompany your athlete to watch from the viewing area.  To do reduce numbers we ask:
    • Parents to drop off their children and not wait in the viewing area or linger for long periods of time.  Please drop your child off until their class is completed.
    • We do understand that younger athletes need to be assisted into the building and parents/caregivers may need to wait for their child.  Please distance yourself in the viewing area or assist your athlete inside and please wait in your vehicle.  If a concern arises, we will notify you immediately.
    • Gymagic’s policy is that EVERY athlete must have an adult come inside the facility to pick them up.  This prevents accidents in the parking lot especially as light becomes limited in the winter months.
    • Please make pick-up inside our lobby at the end of classes quick and do not linger to ensure a steady flow of traffic in and out.
    •
  • Additional Safety Protocols:
    • Gymagic Staff will continue to implement our cleaning protocols of mats and equipment at the end of use/end of each class.
    • Hand Sanitizer will be available at designated stations.
    • Masks should be brought with athlete if they wish to wear them.
    • Gymagic staff members will remain at home if they are sick and will be required to get tested if they have symptoms, even if vaccinated.  They will follow the First District Health’s quarantine protocol before they return to work.
    • Athletes should follow school protocol if they are not feeling well.  They should not return to practice until they are fever free without medication for 24 hours, close contact with a COVID positive until cleared through testing and appropriate quarantine, or if they are having vomiting or diarrhea.

We are grateful for your continued support! It takes all of us to have a successful year and we are so excited to see you in the gym!

Sincerely,

Talli Danelson
