Recreational Classes
We provide progressions, skills, and technique for Beginner gymnasts through level 4. We have a very specific curriculum using the latest USA Gymnastics guidelines and materials. Our curriculum includes floor exercise, balance beam, uneven bars, vault, and basic dance. We review our curriculum each year and make changes according to USA Gymnastics revisions, updates, and latests trends
Advanced
This is the next step after tested and passed the intermediate class. Our advanced class is two days per week.
These gymnasts will learn more challenging skills while focusing on proper technique and reinforcing core body positions. They learn self-discipline, time management and a strong work ethic, which are critical to continued success in this sport.
Beginner
Ages 6 and up. This is the starting point for classes if you are just starting and are 6 years old or
older. Our beginner class provides children with a strong gymnastics’ foundation. This is a non-
competitive program that emphasizes strength, coordination, and flexibility, as they learn the
fundamentals of gymnastics. They will work on perfecting their rolls, handstands, bridges, and
cartwheels on floor, casting and pullovers on bars, walking, mounting, and dismounting on
beam, and basic vaulting. We focus heavily on core skills that will be required to progress to the
next level while exposing them to each of the four Olympic events: vault, uneven bars, floor, and
beam.

Prerequisite - None
Ages: 6 year olds and up
Length of Class: 55 minutes
Beginner Advanced
Our beginner advanced class is the next step after they have tested and passed the beginner
class. This is a non-competitive program that emphasizes strength, coordination, and flexibility, as they
learn the fundamentals of gymnastics. Athletes will continue to build on the basics of their
beginner skills such as their cartwheels, handstands, and other skills listed in our Beginner Class.
Your athlete will be introduced to skills such as Round Offs and front and back kick
overs/walkovers on floor, hips circles on bars, jumping and basic tumbling on the beam, and
more advanced vaulting skills. They will continue to focus heavily on core skills that will be
required to progress to the next level while exposing them to each of the four events.

This class is the next step after they have tested and passed the Beginner Advanced Class.
This is also a non-competitive program that teaches more advanced skills on each of the events
while also emphasizing strength, coordination, and flexibility. This unique class allows children
to work towards mastering old skills while training newer, more advanced skills. This includes
progressions into back handsprings, front handsprings, on floor, hip circles, glides, and casting
on bars, leaps, turns, and Acro on beam, and running and approach on vault. It helps to build
self-esteem, body awareness and gain confidence in their abilities.
