Recreational Gymnastics

Our recreational program offers athletes a place to build skills, confidence, and strength—without the pressure of competition. Athletes gain coordination, strength, flexibility, discipline, and perseverance --all in a place where they feel seen, valued, and celebrate for who they are and how they grow. These inclusive classes do not require a try-out and are perfect for beginners through advanced gymnasts who want to stay active, grow their abilities, and have fun in a supportive environment.

Using the latest USA Gymnastics guidelines and an ever-evolving curriculum, athletes train on all four Olympic events: floor, balance beam, uneven bars, and vault. Classes are led by trained coaches who meet each athlete where they are, helping them progress safely while fostering endless growth and a lifelong love for movement.

Advanced

Our Advanced class is for dedicated athletes who have completed Intermediate training and are ready to tackle more challenging skills in a non-competitive setting. This class blends technical refinement with strength and body control to help athletes push their personal boundaries and meet goals while staying confident and supported.

Athletes work on skills like back handsprings, front handsprings, glides, casting, hip circles, acro on beam, and advanced vault techniques. The focus remains on safe progressions, individual development, and building body awareness that supports future gymnastics success—or a transition to other sports.

Class length: 90 minutes
Prerequisite: Mastery of Intermediate skills or evaluation by a Gymagic staff member

Beginner

Our Beginner class is the perfect starting point for athletes ages 6+ who are new to gymnastics or building foundational skills. In a fun and supportive environment, athletes develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence while learning the core elements of the sport.

Coaches guide students through age-appropriate progressions on all four Olympic events—vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor. Athletes work on skills like rolls, handstands, bridges, cartwheels, casting, and pullovers, while building a solid base for future growth.

Class length: 55 minutes
Prerequisite: Must be 6 years or older

Intermediate

The Intermediate class is designed for athletes who have mastered the Beginner curriculum and are ready to expand their skillset. With increased class time, athletes build on the foundation of their beginner skills. They develop greater coordination, and confidence as they learn exciting new skills in all four Olympic events: floor, bars, beam, and vault.

Athletes will be introduced to round-offs, back and front walkovers, and more complex movements on floor. On bars, they’ll work hip circles and strength-based progressions. Beam training includes jumps and beginner acro, while vault training focuses on dynamic runs and improved takeoffs.

Class length: 75 minutes
Prerequisite: Mastery of Beginner skills or evaluation by a Gymagic staff member
